11th Annual Ride
Grace Lutheran Church
2018 Outreach for Hope
Family Bike Ride
(combined Waukesha & Ozaukee County locations)
Progress Toward Goal
(as of 10/23/18)
THE RIDE MAY BE OVER, BUT THERE ARE STILL TWO WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
The Outreach for Hope Family Bike Ride was a great event! Close to 400 riders and nearly 100 volunteers at two locations made it a very special day. Smiles on the faces of young and old alike spoke volumes about the day and the event.
Although the Ride may be over, the need continues. There is still time to take part by sponsoring those who participated in the Ride or making a donation directly to Outreach for Hope following the SUPPORT A PARTICIPANT or DONATE instructions below. All donations received by October 31 will count toward this year’s goal of $120,000.
We're close, but we still have a ways to go to achieve our goal. Help us complete our challenge to raise $8,500 through participant fundraising. Until we reach that amount, all gifts will be DOUBLED! (As of 09.18.18, $6,653 has been raised through participant fundraising.) Remember the Donation Challenge - that every participant-raised donation will generate a $10 match. Nearly 500 donations have been received so far. Let’s grow that number and the matching funds.
2.) SUPPORT A PARTICIPANT
Support a Rider, a Virtual Rider, or a Volunteer by making a donation on their personal web page. Enter a Participant's last name or a Team name in the boxes provided (right). Then click on Search to find the Participant or Team you want to support. Then click on their name, and you will be taken to their personal fundraising page.
For every donation to a Participant's or Team's web page, a long time supporter of Outreach for Hope will contribute another $10 to Outreach for Hope.
Another set of donors have pledged to match contributions to the Ozaukee County ride; every donation received by Ozaukee fundraisers will be DOUBLED (up to $8,500).
The more support for more participants, the more support for Outreach for Hope ministries! Last year 270 donors contributed almost $25,000 in support of 90 individuals and teams. You can be part of growing those amounts in 2018.
You can donate directly to Outreach for Hope by doing as follows: In Find a Participant (right), enter the last name Hope, and click on Search. You will find the name of Outreach for Hope's fundraising page. Click on the page name and be taken to the page where you can easily make your donation.
Be inspired by the examples of Augustine Financial, Pavement Consulting i LLC, and the Donation Challenges to donate generously.
