A SUPER SUCCESS!

ELCA Outreach Center in Kenosha

Christ the King in Delafield

This Sunday, February 7th, congregations across the Greater Milwaukee Synod participated in Outreach for Hope's first Super Bowl Sunday food drive. To everyone who took part in this SUPER opportunity to help our neighbors in need, either through a virtual or traditional collections: THANK YOU!!

We are currently in the process of managing distribution of physical item donations to our Ministry Partners. Additionally, all monetary donations given to the Food Drive, and received by the end of this month, will be divided equally (50/50) going 50% to Outreach for Hope's work purchasing needed items for our ministry partners and 50% to the ELCA's World Hunger campaign. Stay tuned for an announcement of the final totals some time in March!

2021 RIDE/RUN/WALK: SAVE THE DATE!

This year's Family Ride/Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Look for additional details and online registration later this year!

FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL!

Could you take a minute to follow us on social media, and to invite your friends to do the same?

The more people who are following us on these accounts, the more features we'll be able to use to engage new potential supporters of our mission. THANK YOU in advance for helping us share the story of Outreach for Hope and our Ministry Partners, further than ever before!

NEW MAILING ADDRESS

We are transitioning to the use of a Post Office Box for our mail. That address is:

PO Box 341695
Milwaukee, WI 53234

Although the Post Office has been asked to forward mail sent to our Layton Blvd address, forwarding is temporary (and not always reliable). Using the PO Box ensures that your mail arrives as quickly as possible.

If you have sent mail to us recently which was returned to you as 'undeliverable,' please resend that mail to our PO Box. We apologize for the inconvenience!

DONATIONS RECEIPTS FROM OFH

Each time you donate to Outreach for Hope, you normally receive a 'thank you' letter which serves as a donation receipt with the appropriate tax language.

Last month, we took the additional step of mailing or emailing you a donation receipt letter which included all of your OFH donations for the calendar year 2020. In addition to being a helpful reminder of your generosity in 2020, donation receipts this year may be specifically helpful as you prepare your taxes (with special CARES act deduction rules in effect.)

If you did not get a 2020 donation receipt letter from us by email or mail last month, please contact phil@outreachforhope.org. If you have questions about special deduction rules this year, please contact your accountant.

Thank you for your continued support of Outreach for Hope!
